*One Beautiful Gal*
Horse: Pocahontas
Rider: Ariel Paisley
Sun high in the sky, Lucy was leading Holly and Ariel to the DRS dirt track. Lucy recently acquired Holly from Arrowhead Stables, which was sadly shut down after only a couple weeks of being open. The young filly caught her eye and she knew she just had to take her in, along with Gratis and Avatar. She knew the potential the three of them possessed.
Holly was an incredible filly. She was a promising sprinter. Ariel had a thing for her. She felt she could really get to enjoy her. Not to mention, she was an eye-catching horse. Holly snorted loudly, bringing Ariel out of her daydreaming. She collected the reins, her gaze going straight ahead. There was the dirt track. Holly's nostrils flared as she raised her nose out to the open course. She was most certainly checking to see if there were any other horses on the oval at the time, but they were the only ones.
Ariel gathered the reins tight and urged Holly into a trot. The filly danced along the surface as they made their way around a turn. She had such a fluid movement. She seemed still full of it, even after her 3rd place finish in the Dirty Duck Stakes. She would break her maiden before they knew it. Her time was coming. She had a bunch of talent stored inside her. It was just waiting for the opportunity to come out and show the world.
Holly bowed her head as she relaxed. She had a beautiful extended stride. She looked like an angel prancing along. Ariel sat proud in the saddle. She wanted to feel what power the filly had stored inside her. She knew she had an explosion inside. She was a fireball ready to be released. It was soon time to set her free. Ariel admired the beautiful filly. She didn't see many quite as beautiful.
Ariel got ready to set her off. When it happened Holly shot straight ahead. She galloped fast and furiously. She was a front runner. She needed to get up there and stay. They whipped around the turn and headed into the stretch. The filly was quick on her feet and dashed down the stretch. She gave it her all. Ariel gave her all the rein she needed, not holding back on the bit at all. Holly was off and flew past the wire. Ariel reached down and pat her on the shoulder. The filly truly showed her what she had in her. It was an amazing ride.
